The Field House

The clients have lived and farmed in the area for 22 years and want a sustainable exemplary piece of modern architecture for their retirement.  The house responds to their detailed brief and changing requirements over the coming years and incorporates a natural swimming pond and an organic design which allows open views of their garden and distant landscape.

The scheme is outside of the settlement area and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and needs to be Exceptional Architecture to pass Paragraph 55 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
